ATELIER KAMP x SONRA PROTO II (KRAL)
We are happy to announce that for the first time we have been asked to play a major role in the game of a global sneaker release. So here we are, proudly presenting THE KRAL.
For his lable Sonra, the Berlin-based sneakerhead and Solebox-founder Hikmet Sugoer teamed up with our team riders and friends from Atelier Kamp and brought an incredible shoe to the start. Working on the Sonra proto II (Kral), Atelier Kamp decided on an eye-catching colorway that is easily recognized and also as overdrawn as their well-known illustrations.
THE KRAL is storytelling on the highest level. Creating an ode to Austria’s long past monarchy, they came up with the “Schönbrunner yellow“- a dusty, somewhat dirty beige-yellow that changes slightly depending on the light conditions. Two other colors also stem directly from the Schönbrunn Palace: the rich petrol, which adorns all doors, gates and window frames, while the bluish mint green represents the oxidised copper of the building. The highly limited proto II is featured with elaborate and glamorous details in style of the KRAL’S character (Turkish for King). Together with GOODKIDSBADSOCIETY, Atelier Kamp has designed matching socks. Here the majestic quilted look of the insoles is continued and the double-headed eagle can be found on both backs of the feet.
We were providing egotrips-store.com for the official sneaker release, further selling the socks and associated fine art prints. Accompanying the release, we have produced a t-shirt, perfectly matching to the KRAL’s colorway, your (hopefully) new pair of Sonras. Little hint: As long as available in different sizes, the Kral socks have been the gate to buy the exclusive Sonra proto II (KRAL).
