THE RETURN OF THE HOME OF CLASSICS

Storytelling – this is the keyword in the new Adidas Originals Home of Classics collection. But this time Adidas does not tell the story alone, it is you and me.
Reiterating their most iconic silhouettes majorly clad in plain white leather with off-white and rosé layers, it is on the wearer to project their personal journey on his or her shoe and carry it around proudly. Like writing your story on empty pages you are adding patina to a simple classic by rocking it in your neighborhood, on adventures, as a companion through day and night, easily matching every outfit.
As a start to your documentation, you can choose between the Stan Smith, the Superstar, the Continental 80, Rivalry Lo, A.R. Trainer and the Supercourt. The latter has received some extra treatment and is released in three new variances, not only white, but also black and beige, always emphasizing simplicity.
To inspire your own story, Adidas followed Friends & Family creatives to their own favorite places, always the Supercourt on their feet. With Adrian Bianco bringing some OG Asian Food vibes and Wana Limar hopping between bar and backyard, you can convince yourself how versatile the Supercourt and the rest of the Home of Classics collection can be.
Like so often, Adidas is looking back at their roots and this time they are hitting the spot. No mashup or hybrid, no corny influencer campaign, just OG people and OG vibes. A simple and good concept, very refreshing. Especially the choice of creatives like Adrian and Wana shows that this campaign is about realness. Adrian being a self-made editor and photographer who recently made his big step moving to Tokyo, Wana being a German moderator, DJ and video creator with Afghani roots. She also is involved in an organization that aims to provide access to education for every child on earth. These definitely are two stories that deserve to be carried by a simple classic.
